When choosing a photograph for a pet memorial portrait, the most important thing is that it feels like them.
A clear photograph is always helpful, but it doesn’t need to have been taken professionally. Older photographs, phone pictures and treasured snapshots can often work beautifully too.
Try to choose an image where your pet’s face and features can be seen clearly. Natural light is helpful, and photographs taken around eye level usually give the best result.
