Say hello to Laura, the creator of Created by Magic

Here at Created by Magic, we are celebrating our fifth birthday this month! To mark this great milestone and to thank our customers for their support over the last few years, we are giving away lots of prizes and discounts during February. So make sure you watch this space to get a chance to scoop a great prize on our products.

As it’s our birthday, we wanted to tell you more about our wonderful creator Laura and how she creates the special and unique designs our customers love. Over to you Laura!

Hey!… For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for creating unique gifts for my friends and family! During my childhood I would always join in with creating creative magic during my favourite show, Art Attack, using pritt stick and tissue paper to create a wonderful and wild creations to give to my nearest and dearest.

I went to Winchester School of Art to study and completed my BA degree in Graphic Art back in 2009. I then began working for a local graphic design agency which was a great way to learn more about my style, developing design skills and most importantly learn the business of design.

After having my first baby  ‘Mini Magic’, I began selling my personalised prints on Facebook. After the birth of our second baby ‘Little Pickle’, I wanted to make it much easier for customers to personalise their prints and place their orders with ease and this is how first began.

Outside of the business, I love spending time with my best friend (aka hubby), our two little pickles and our cocker spaniel Bella. A typical day for me is dropping off my two pickles, picking up a take away coffee and taking Bella for a walk. I then get to the office, play some tunes including a lot of James Morrison and begin creating my magic!

“Ordered a print as a present and it’s absolutely beautiful! It was also delivered incredibly quickly after ordering which was great. I’ll definitely be buying from here again.”
